Sorry for the long wait. I’ve been having some personal troubles. I’m going to make it my mission from this point on to get at least a partially regular episode out to you guys for the foreseeable future. The D&D episode was made recently, but we have some old episodes we recorded a long time ago coming up. My apologies to Adm. Rick Tetrault from Starbase 66. We recorded an episode with him as the guest forever ago, It’ll be out soon. Probably within the next week.
Again my apologies.
In the episode we discuss Dungeons and Dragons the movie. Nate got this movie as a gift. Dave actually bought it, on purpose. Seriously, he actually woke up and thought “I should buy the Dungeons and Dragons movie” Dave is weird.
In the episode we discuss Aliens Vs. Predator: Requiem. Dave thinks Adam Baldwin is awesome despite not knowing what movies he is in. Nate endorses Glowing Predator Blue Juice. And I realize we joke about movie characters break dancing a lot.
Other news stuff:
We think you should support Gamers: Hands of Fate on Kickstarter.com. The Dead Gentlemen make really funny movies and webshows and now they are trying to get a card game started.
For any fellow nerds in Denver, Dave and I will both be at TactiCon this weekend. Come by. Hang out. Play some games. Shoot us an Email if you plan to be there.
In this episode we are joined by Jakob and Mandi from Nerd Hurdles to discuss Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Nate wants a wizard dance competition. Dave thinks people shouldn’t eat food out of beards. Jakob doesn’t want Bertie Botts Feces Flavored Beans. Mandy wants a Gatorade swimming pool. Check out Nerd Hurdles over on Simply Syndicated.
I should be able to get back to a more regular update schedule now that Dave is almost finished moving and I don’t have finals or family visits soon.
Wesley Snipes. Apparently the only black man playing sports in the future.
In this episode we discuss Rollerball. Only this time it isn’t very good, it is about Hawaiian independence and it is called FutureSport. Dave thinks this movie is like Cyberpunk 2020. Nate hates quiddich.
Jet Li doesn’t look at explosions. Or do this at any point in the movie.
In this episode we discuss Meltdown / High Risk starring Jet Li. Nate prepares for an invasion of kangaroos. Dave thinks the Car drives itself off into the sunset.
To pile on all the other crap that has happened to me. I am having serious internet connectivity issues and only one person at CenturyLink is smart enough to know that I’m not calling them because I want to talk to really stupid under-trained “tech” “support” employees. (I use the quotes around tech support because they would have to actually have technical knowledge or provide some kind of support before they would count as either)
This movie was a listener suggestion. If you know movies you think we should do please let us know. Another listener suggestion “Bullitt” is already in the list. Shoot us an Email or Comment.
In this episode we discuss The One. Nate can predict the formation of black holes with 50% accuracy. Dave is confused by quantum foam. Jason from ATW9K was going to join us for this one but Life got in the way. DAMN YOU MILTON BRADLEY!
End theme “You’re Still the one” Written by Robert John “Mutt” Lange and Shania Twain, performed by Roper.
